The M/V Miss Cher:

SkipperLiners:
These SkipperLiners are custom built in La Crosse, WI.
Many of these vessels are equipped with rooftop Seamach
marine A/C units on the pilot house and all units are
installed with a VAN-PAN at the factory.

The Midnight Splash:
These Van-Pans were installed on June 30, 2001 by owner Denny Cole of Cary, NC.
He was so happy with them he wrote us:

My Myacht is a 1997 48 foot model (two bedroom, twin engine, fly bridge, etc). It has two DuoTherm 1350 A/C Units and condensate running all over the deck has been a major pain. My forward A/C unit was mounted right up against the bridge seating so I had to be creative with raising up the seats to fit the Van-Pan under one corner of the seat. As it turns out, a 2" Schedule 40 female adapter is about the same height as the Van-Pan (About 2-3/8 inches, including extra height from having the extra gasket underneath the pan). These 2" diameter plastic rings were simply glued in place with clear marine silicone. They work perfectly!

In addition to the obvious routing of the condensate, I am even more thrilled with the noise-reduction - particularly the low-frequency noise that was reduced by perhaps half or more - very noticeable when we compared the two units after the first Van-Pan was installed. We want to install the next pan as soon as possible.
